Five/Fourteen is a social service agency providing services and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer and otherwise gender-non-conforming youth and young adults in and from foster care in Ontario. The name Five/Fourteen is a reference to the day May 14, Ontario’s first Children and Youth In Care Day. This day also marked the 45th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexual acts in Canada, yet LGBTQ youth were left out of the Province’s updates on foster youth.
I worked with Chad and Lucas in developing and designing the visual identity, business cards, communication materials, and website design. Five/Fourteen was recently selected as a 2015 Agent of Change by Toronto’s Centre for Social Innovation.
